JOHANNESBURG

World Mother Live came to Johannesburg in May 2025 at the Theatre on Nelson Mandela Square. This live performance event brought the World Mother Storytelling Project into a shared public space, where stories were told through deep listening, presence, and human connection. Participants and audience members witnessed what happens when mothers’ stories are spoken in the first person and received with care. World Mother Live is a central expression of the project’s work, transforming personal history into collective experience and creating moments of empathy, reflection, and connection across communities.
